Man Books An Entire Plane To Travel With Family For His Wedding Netizens Want To Know The Cost

Indian weddings are usually celebrated with great pomp and show. In fact people go overboard to make it look extravagant, like chosing exotic destinations, setting up grand entries and buying designer wedding outfits. These days destination weddings have become a fad for which huge expenses are made. In a video that is going viral, a groom booked an entire plane to carry his guests to the destination.

The video, shared on Instagram opens to show a plane on a tarmac waiting to board passengers. As the man shooting the video enters the flight the air hostess waves before the camera through the aisle. One can also see the groom’s family and relatives seated inside the plane who wave, cheer, and make heart shapes with their hands inside the plane.

Since being shared, the video has amassed 17 lakh views, 43,438 likes, and several comments.

“I am genuinely curious. How much does it cost. All I need is the distance and price to get an estimate. All the airlines have just a form and don’t show the estimate,” wrote one user.

“Thank God Airline did not send old not so well maintained aeroplane as it is only one single family. I had bitter experience with A/c bus service booked for entire family and they sent some crap vehicle,” wrote another user.

“More reasons to not get married, wrote a third jokingly.

“Suppose there are 20 rows in that plane.one row 6 people. A total of 60 seats have been booked. If the cost of one seat is 3k. It amounts to 1.8 lakhs. As it is a mass booking/Full flight booking discount of 20% will be obvious. Total sums to 1.5Lakhs. Not a huge amount, for a middle class family to afford. Good luck for your marriage, wrote

Saskatoon resident Adrienne Stone has had just about enough of Sunwing Airlines, after months of confusion around her family’s winter vacation booking.

The Stone family first made plans in August 2022 for a trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, with Sunwing. They booked a direct flight out of Saskatoon for Feb. 10, 2023.

Stone said the price for the trip was good, and that her family has travelled with Sunwing at least six times and has previously had no major hiccups.

“The odd delay due to weather, things like that, but nothing major there. They’ve always been a great airline — cheap, get you there, get you to a good resort and transportation included from the airport to the hotel. No issues,” Stone said.

Then on Dec. 30, sunwing-cancels-all-flights-regina-saskatoon-feb-1.6699783″ data-ylk=”slk:Sunwing cancelled all its flights out of Saskatchewan until Feb. 3″ class=”link “Sunwing cancelled all its flights out of Saskatchewan until Feb. 3. “Then I was talking to my aunt in Regina, and her flight to the Dominican was cancelled and she had said she noticed that something was up a couple days beforehand, because [her] trip was missing on the Sunwing app, and that kind of sent a red flag to her.”

Stone decided to check on the status of her own trip. Like her aunt’s, it was missing from the Sunwing app.

Stone called Sunwing and got confirmation that her trip had indeed been cancelled. She couldn’t rebook the trip out of a non-Saskatchewan airport because the transportation would

‘We’re going there for adventure’: Family in off-grid house in Auckland head for Cromwell hut

They built their off-grid architectural dream home in Auckland, but now this family are heading for a merino farm with “a couple of huts”.

Jessie Chalmers, Andrew Duncan and their three sons, Kea, 8, Kahu, 5, and Sol, 23 months, have an enviable lifestyle on a picturesque property in Swanson. Their homeschooled children roam free, building tree huts, collecting eggs, and careering down the driveway – and in April there will be a fourth baby boy joining the family.

But now that the family has their home exactly as they want it, they’re off to start over on a 242ha property they own in Cromwell, which is currently leased for merino sheep grazing.

“We’re going there for adventure,” Duncan says. “There are a couple of huts on the property, which we may be able to join up to make a temporary home. It’s pretty rugged, but it will be good for the boys to experience a different way of living. Not everyone gets to live in a house like this one here.”

Stone decided to go with a refund, which Sunwing said would take 30 days. She received an invoice. But for weeks after, Stone noticed Sunwing was still selling the same Puerto Vallarta package her family had booked in August.

Boyfriend questions girlfriend’s bikini on family vacation: ‘Way out of line’

A woman can’t believe her boyfriend let his family make horrible comments about her body.

She asked Reddit’s “Am I the A******? (AITA)” forum to weigh in. While vacationing with her boyfriend’s family, she wore a bikini. Then on one drunken night, all of the men on the trip called her a “slut” and said they would “steal” her away from her boyfriend. Her boyfriend said it was her fault.

Here’s how to get 20% off and a monthly $10 promo reward at CVS!

“Every year at the end of summer, my boyfriend’s family has a beach trip. While I was packing, I was sure to include nicer dresses in case we went out and even included a more modest bikini than I would usually wear,” she explained.

When she wore her bikini with a cover-up during the trip, no one really said anything. Then they said it all.

“After dinner, we were all pretty wasted. When we were talking about our time on the boat, my bfs dad made a comment about how everyone was staring at me because of my ‘slutty bikini,’” she wrote.

She tried to laugh it off. Her boyfriend’s mother attempted to deflate the situation. But the men wouldn’t stop.

Watch this bland Brooklyn bedroom become a mid-century modern escape in just one day:

“His younger brother said that I basically was wearing nothing,” she wrote. “ I defended myself and said it was the most conservative suit I had, and then his older brother said that it didn’t leave anything to the imagination, and that if he were single he would have tried to steal me away. That comment made me pretty uncomfortable, and I could tell it made his wife uncomfortable too. I asked if

Kim Kardashian Wore the Shania Twain-Approved Version of Her Go-To Pantaboots

Let's go girl.

Getty Images

For the last year and a half, Kim Kardashian has almost solely worn black Balenciaga pantaboots — aside from an occasional thong bikini or neon Barbiecore catsuit. Now, the fashion mogul is elevating her staple look with an unexpected print: leopard.

On Tuesday, Kardashian stepped out for a Good Morning America appearance in a new iteration of her favorite lycra look with animal-printed leggings and boots, which she paired with a black turtleneck with built-in gloves. She accessorized with a black faux furry Balenciaga bag, matching sports shades, and massive square earrings resembling a credit card (an appropriate accessory for a billionaire). Her platinum blonde hair was slicked into a chignon bun, and she kept her glam simple with neutral tones.

:

During the interview, Kardashian teased the upcoming sophomore season of her family‘s Hulu show, The Kardashians (which premieres on the platform this Thursday), noting that there is a “seriously deep, vulnerable” episode this series that may surprise fans. She also got real about dealing with the scrutiny and backlash she faces everyday saying, “You just get to a level where you see so much of it is noise, and we have each other, we have us as a support system. I couldn’t do it without my family.”

Aside from the reality show, Kardashian is booked and busy with law school, motherhood, and several business ventures, including SKIMS, SKKN by Kim, and SKKY Partners, a private equity firm she recently founded with Jay Sammons. “I feel like I’ve had the blessings of being successful growing my businesses, and there’s nothing that’s been more satisfying when you have this passion of knowing how to start a company from start to finish, and really being able to expand on that,” she explained. “And I really just want

My husband hid my daughter’s passport so she couldn’t join her step-siblings on vacation

It can sometimes be tricky blending together two families with children, particularly when they’re at different stages in their development. One mum says she’s had issues with her husband of three years suggesting her teenage daughter doesn’t spend enough time with her younger step-siblings and it’s led to a very vindictive act.

“A family trip is what the family needs”

The woman explained in her post to Reddit that she’s been with her husband for three years now and there are issues between him and her 17-year-old daughter.

“She does her best to spend as much time with [her step-siblings] as she can,” she wrote in her post, “but she complains that her stepdad tells her to basically take on the role of a babysitter whenever she’s with her step-siblings.”

The woman said her husband denies this but insists the teen is just making excuses not to be around them.

“I figured that a family trip is what the family needs to get together and spend more time around each other,” she continued.

“My husband liked the idea but said that his kids are now ‘uncomfortable’ around my daughter because of her ‘attitude’ and suggested we let her stay home and have the house all to herself since that’s ‘what she always wanted.’”

The woman went ahead and booked and paid for a big holiday but the daughter suddenly could not find her passport. They turned the entire house upside down looking for it to no avail.

Myrtle Beach condo owner cancels High Point woman’s reservation

Vickie Barts had already started to pack when the Myrtle Beach resort called to let her know the condo owner wanted to use the unit Barts booked.

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Many of us have a favorite vacation spot. A place you visit almost every year. That spot for Vickie Barts and her family is Myrtle Beach.

“We have been coming down along with extended family probably 15 years, every year,” Barts said.

Through the years, the family vacation has grown from about five to now sometimes more than a dozen family members. Barts and her family almost always stay in the same condo/resort complex, but the units will vary, depending on availability.

A recent family vacation would include almost 15 people, so two units were needed. Barts’ daughter booked one for her family and Barts booked the other unit. The condo was reserved and paid for almost six months before the planned vacation.

“This was taken care of well in advance,” Barts said.

‘We are sorry, but your reservation has been canceled’

Three days before the family was planning to head to Myrtle Beach, Barts received a call from the resort. It was a call she never expected – a manager had some bad news.

“’We are sorry, but your reservation has been canceled,’ I was like no, no, no,” Barts said.

The unit’s owner apparently decided to use it himself or let a friend use it, so the reservation was canceled by the management company. Barts spent several hours trying to get the issue resolved. She spoke with representatives at the resort on several occasions.

“This is not OK. You need to call the owner back,” Barts said.

Barts would also reach out to the Better Business Bureau and News 2 for assistance.

Single Mom Refusing Another Vacation As 3 Kids Are ‘On Their Phones’ Backed

A single mother who’s tired of “managing” her three daughters (aged 21, 16, and 13) who are constantly “on their phones” during their family vacation has received a wave of support from users on Mumsnet.

In a post shared on Mumsnet under the username mycatisannoying, the woman said: “I adore my children but they’re really f***ing me off.”

She said she “probably wouldn’t choose to spend this much time with them…,” adding “I am fed up of managing their moods, their spats, trying to get them out the room at a reasonable time.”

Despite the stresses that may come with family vacations, the demand for family travel in the U.S. was reported to be strong in 2021 following a sharp dip in 2020.

According to the 2021 edition of the annual U.S. Family Travel Survey conducted by the Family Travel Association (FTA) and the NYU School of Professional Studies (SPS) Jonathan M. Tisch Center of Hospitality, 88 percent of parents are “likely or very likely” to travel with their kids in the next 12 months.

“This means that travel demand from U.S. families in 2021 is at the same level as it was in 2017,” explained a report on the survey’s findings by Dr. Lynn Minnaert, a clinical associate professor at the NYU SPS Jonathan M. Tisch Center of Hospitality.

“Travel intent in 2021 is higher than in 2019, when it was at 70 percent, and in 2018, when it was at 79 percent,” the report said.

The mom in the latest Mumsnet post later explained that her 21-year-old daughter has “high functioning autism and doesn’t really have any friends,” adding “it’s mostly
